This year I really learned so many things about life and of friendship. This year I’ve got to know more about my friends. We spend more time together this year than last year. I got to know who they really are that they’re not just beautiful and intelligent ladies but they are also good and “reliable”. They are the reasons why I really enjoy my high school life and my stay in Ateneo. They make you laugh especially the “crazy or lokaret one.” =p I also learned that true friendship can’t and will not break. Even though you have misunderstandings with him/her or you had a fight, he/she will try his/her best to fix it and you will still be his/her friend. This is what true friendship is or means. I also learned that everything has a purpose, I transferred here which is so not easy to decide and here, I met my two buddies. I also realized that time flies really fast and the school year is now about to end. I’ve come to remember all the hardships we’ve undergone and I think it’s worth it. We’ve gain more knowledge and we’re already prepared for the upcoming school year.

a. What part of the orchid did you feel difficult to make?
Joining the different parts of the orchid is the most difficult to make. You don't know at first where to start. But well, I'm done.

b. What did you learn in making the orchid?
I learned that you need hardwork to make it. At first it's difficult but when you're done then you'll feel very happy and proud.

c. Post descriptions to sell your artificial orchid.
Well, my orchids are of course beautiful. (joke!) I made it so it's nice and it's also neat. You can display it at home so come and buy it!

I chose this movie because I just like it.

What part of the movie struck you most and why?
When his friends are there for him, there for him in times of need.

The giraffe because I'm kinda shy and TALL! (j0ke!)

What are the morals you have learned from that movie?
Friends are always there for you especially in times of need. They won't leave you. They'll help you with your problems.

What did you learn in making the butterflies?
I learned that making a butterfly is so difficult. You should be determined to do it beautifully because it's a requirement… =p And it needs hard work…

Give at least three (3) significance of the artificial butterflies.
You can use it as a design. You can display it in your home or at school. You can also give this as a gift. Lalala

Family Day '08

The Family Day, as we know, is a day when families get together and have fun. It only happens once a year so we should enjoy it. This year the Ateneo celebrated their Family Day last February 24, 2008. We started it with a motorcade from Ateneo Main Campus in La Purisima to WHK Campus in Tumaga. Then a mass was held. After the mass, the program started. There were many games, and many won prizes. This year the Family Day was again a success. The families really enjoyed and I also had a lot of fun with my friends. The event ended with a fireworks display which was nice. The families went home tired but everyone knows we really enjoyed.

Hai.. Here's my carton-made picture frame.. We have just designed it! Now, it looks kinda BEAUTIFUL.. (just kidding..) The truth is, it's the opposite.. =p

How did you feel in making the picture frame?
Of course we feel tired of making it but it's a lot of fun doing it! We felt happpy of course that we have finished it, a requirement, in time and it's kinda enjoying to put my brothers' picture instead of mine.. =p

Compare your picture frame from other frames that are displayed in the department stores.
Well for me, my frame is more beautiful than those other frames because of course, I made it myself.. And I put some effort in making it look nicer.. I know that it looks simple and not so beautiful but who cares.. =p

Did you know how Valentine's Day had begun? Well, it is said that a man named Valentine started this. Valentine's Day is a time to show our loved ones that we really love them. It is a time when we really express our love to our lover/s, friends and our family. I know that we express our love to them daily but this is a special day just to show and let them know that we really do love and care for them. Valentine's Day is just celebrated once a year and we celebrate it differently. For lovers, especially the males, they usually give chocolates, flowers, cards or other gifts. For friends and families, we usually give cards, cakes or other gifts to them. We also have different views about Valentine's Day. Like for friends, it’s a day for them to show how they value their friendship; for lovers, it’s a special day for them to show their love for their counterpart and for families, to show that they love them and that they care for them. So however we celebrate it and however we understand it, Valentine's Day is a special day to show our love to our loved ones.
